Introduction
The name of my Mission is San Francisco de Solano. It was built on July 4, 1823. The California Mission was built in the late 1700's. The person who started are Mission was  (Father) Fray  Jun`ipero Serra. It is located on Sonoma Street  and on Spain Street. Also on the Valley near the Pacific Coast. The missions were built so the Spanish Missionairies could teach the Native Americans their religion and to earn money. To also gather  support. It was their important work. They also wanted to rule the Native Americans. They wanted to expand their business. They wanted the Indians to be like them. They also forced them to do things.

Geography and Architecture
In the  valley  near  the  Pacific  Coast  it has many  plants surrounding  the mission. They used adobe bricks and paint  to build  the missions. They also  put  the cross  and a roof top.The layout had  a workshop, womens quarters, store rooms,1st cemetary,2nd cemetary,1827 church,1824 church ,patio, kitchen, padres quarters, grist mill, vine yard, bell, cattle brand, orchards, firing kilns, and   lavanderia  (laundry pool). The buildings were unique  because the missionaries have thier  owwn little  comunity and  the soldiers had presidios. They looked interesting & unique.
People and Daily Life
The people who lived in the missions wre called missionairies, priests, soldiers, and neophytes. the missionairies job and the priests job is to teach neophytes how to farm, made stuff and prey. I would describe this like really hard work. Also like forcing people what to do. What I also think of the Daily Life is that  like some neophytes don't care where they are and some do care.
Hardships and Changes to the Missions
The Spanish brought diseases to California like the  measles  and influennza. The  native  americans  died  because of  the diseases .These diseases were  deadly    to the Native A mericans and  Europeon.Fray was a very cruel man. The  indians loss thier  paient  with Fray.Fray left back to Spain.Worked  contiued
by  Fray Buenaventura Fortuni. It came to a temporary end in 1881. In 1903 the walls began to crumble up. It changed to be a blacksmith shop at first. Then in 1922 it became a musuem. Our mission needed to be repaired in1911. It also was given to the state of California for $13,000.The first thing they grew was a vineyard ,fruits, vegetables and  plants like flowers. They made wine with the grapes in the vineyard. The indians were the Miwok and the Pomo tribe. They adapted to the missions by doing what they said and trying to forget about the days outside.
The Mission Today
Our mission  is  now  used like a museum. The objects that are surrounding  it are resturaunts, hotels, shops, and adobe buildings. What caused it is that Spain and Mexico faut  andMexico won the war. They won on September 1821. The mexican government believed that Spanish shouldn't have forced the California Indians to be there. There should not have been missions. The land was given to people who were connected to bthe Mexican President. The
Spanish missionairiesbrought the ideasand skills to Californiasuch as making clothing,Catholic beliefs religionand their language. The mission system changed Californias economy from hunter gatherer to agriculture. They brought horses and knew technoligy (weapons).
