Introduction
Our mission was built Jan.12,1777 it was the 8th of the 21 missons. Misson Santa Clara de Asis was started by Father Hunipero Sara. Misson Santa Clara de Asis is located at 40 miles SE of sanfransissco bay near a stream. To teach California Indeans.

geograthy and architectecture
It was built on the pacific coast on new mision santa clara de asis was built out of adobey bricks. there was a church a big cross and a garden. it was unic because only one type of indians live there.

the ohlone indians live there. they farmed, cooked, and made cloths.

7:00 ambells rang to send indians to work
12:00 -2:00pmindians ate there meal and had a seista(a nap)
2:00pmsolders, neophytes, and misionaries returned to work.
5:00pmthe misionaries led prayers.
6:00pmsupure was held for all, folowed by free time.

9:00pmbed time for men

hard ships and changes in the misions.
Some of the problems  were that some of the indians tried to escape  and  the mission kept breaking down .  in  1821 Spain and  Mexico went  to war and MEXICO won the land in California.
The Mission Today
Mission Santa Clara de Asis is now a COLLEGE . It has one of the oldest building in the west. It kept breaking down. THATS ALL WE KNOW ABOUT MISSION SANTA CLARA DE ASIS.
